NHE Representative Maurizio Patti in Australia

2010 has been a historical year for followers of Nevzorov Haute Ecole in Australia as it represents the first year that a NHE workshop has ever been held here.

NHE Italian Representative, Maurizio Patti came to Australia during the months of November and December to lead three consecutive introductory workshops held at a venue in the Australian state of North Eastern Victoria.

A total of 29 participants came to discover and experience the practicalities and philosophy of NHE and its unique horse human relations.

The response to Maurizio non ambiguous teachings was what has been repeatedly called by those who came as a “moving and life changing event”.

One of the workshop participants was so touched by her experience that she created and published a book to commemorate the occasion. In it Maurizio shares,

“As conductor, my personal workshop experience was really amazing. I felt immediately that every participant was already clear in mind that horses deserve better treatment and a better life than they actually still get in these days all around the world. Coming to the NHE workshop took the participants one step forward in this direction. I must also say that Australian people, at least those I met, are profoundly conscious that we all need to do something more about horses welfare and that the only way is understanding, equality and respect. So I’d like to thank all participants for being so open to this new path where real relationships will be possible and a better quality life to share with their own horses. “

The future shines very bright for NHE in Australia. To date, there are over 300 people listed for the next series of workshops in 2011. Within moments of the first series ending each of the participants expressed their hopes to reunite again in 2011 when it is expected that Maurizio revisits in spring.

As organizer of the event, I could hardly have hoped for a better outcome or more touching affirmation of progress of the horse revolution. People here are truly ready for the next step in their journeys and meeting a master and wonderful teacher as Maurizio only confirms to them the world is changing, we are changing and what we wish for our planet and all the inhabitants can indeed come true.
