In April 2011 we had the first Nevzorov Haute Ecole workshop in France and it represents a great start towards understanding horses rights and welfare. It took place at Haras Picard du Sant – Lasserre – France a unique place that combined real nature in every aspect and the profound philosophy of NHE.

All the participants came to discover and experience something they could somehow already feel inside. At the end everyone said: “what we have seen here is exactly what we expect from a true horse/human relationship”.

In many occasions, it was so evident everyone had this lump in their throat and tears in their eyes for what was happening there. Like in Australia it was a “moving and life changing event”.

The enthusiasm of people was so high that for next year, at Haras Picard du Sant, we already have dates for another two workshops. First one 13/14/15 April 2012 / second one 20/21/22 April 2012.

I must thank everyone, starting from Natasca Smargiassi for all she did to organize this event in France, Jean Louise and Christine for their beautiful place, Stéphanie Claverie for the beautiful photos  and all the participants and the magnificent horses.
