3.1        A.Nevzorov (off screen): The purpose of the horse bit has always been the same. It has only one function – that of causing a pain in the horse mouth. By configuration the bit of the 8th century BC didn’t differ from modern bit.
            The man has always built his relationship with the horse through causing pain in its mouth. Even when he wasn’t armed with such imposing and complicated device he was always trying to guide the horse through its mouth. Even the Indians of  North America, in those cases when they had to deal with ordinary horses but not with those raised by Shunka WakanYuha Wicasha, the clan of horse whisperer, effected the horse’s mouth in the most routh, cruel and primitive way using the Wikan, the so-called Indian bridle.
