Meeting with readers in ‘Bukvoed’ book store. (24.08.2006)

Alexander Nevzorov met with readers of “The Horse Crucified and Risen” (Horse Encyclopedia) on August, 24 in one of the largest book stores of Saint-Petersburg.

There was no particular cause to organize the meeting, and the publishers made almost no efforts to find it, considering that this event would draw much attention anyway. The book has already run through two editions. The content of the book is no news for everyone. Nevertheless the conference hall was full and people stood even in the gangway. The main TV companies and six periodicals of the city had their representatives there.

First, Nevzorov took quite a strange, as it may seem at first sight, decision. Instead of showing the two series of Horse Encyclopedia, as it was announced earlier, they showed the 45 minutes educational film that explained the method of training a horse according to Haute Ecole standards.

Then a lively and powerful discussion followed. 

There were enemies. Most of them were upset and kept silence, though earlier gave promises to go onto the offensive, to be rude and straight. Only one sportswoman was brave enough to argue with Alexander, asking the sacred question about metal. Nevzorov showed a lot of courtesy, asked the lady to go to the stage and then “crushed” his opponent completely. Everything looked like a public lashing, when Nevzorov easily showed to the audience the complete ignorance and absence of knowledge of the girl and thus proved that she has no right to express her opinion on this issue.

Other opponents kept silence, sadly mumbled something and then asked shyly for an autograph.
